Birmingham-based Robins & Morton to be general contractor for new Intergraph headquarters

Birmingham-based Robins & Morton will be the general contractor for Intergraph’s new $58 million headquarters in Madison.

The engineering and geospatial software maker last week announced plans for the project, which will cover 250,000 square feet and include a data center, conference space, food service area and lakeside terraces.

“We are proud to be a member of the team that will build the new headquarters for Intergraph, which will allow 1,100 employees to work together in one building,” said Bill Morton, Robins & Morton’s president and chief executive. “In addition, the construction will employ hundreds of workers over the next two years. This project is a major achievement for Intergraph, as well as a significant contribution to the growth and progress of the Madison/Huntsville area.”

Robins & Morton does work in a variety of fields, including healthcare, industrial, education and hospitality projects.
