Description: Robins & Morton recently completed the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Holding Bay on the 2nd floor of the Eisenhower Army Medical Center, located in Fort Gordon, Georgia. The 650 square-foot renovation began with the demolition of interior walls and division within the existing area. New electrical systems, plumbing, and medical gas lines were added. New ductwork, HVAC system, and flooring were installed. A special emphasis was placed on the installation of the new Headwall Systems for each patient area; to supply outlets for all clinical bedside activity. Lastly, a new restroom was constructed in the new cath lab area. All of this labor intensive work was completed adjacent to the occupied and fully functioning pre existing cardiac cath lab.
