Description: Morehead Memorial Hospital is located in North Carolina in the city of Eden. The facility is a 108-bed acute care hospital that serves 150,000 residents in north central North Carolina and southern Virginia. The expansion of Morehead Memorial Hospital encompassed 50,000 SF. The work consisted of several different phases including a new emergency department addition, a new multi-leveled central energy plant, a new radiology addition and new parking. During expansion, the hospital also underwent a massive renovation. The areas renovated include the patient care areas, the diagnostic imaging department, the medical records department, the front lobby, registration offices, and the nursing and physician work areas. With such an accomplishment, the project team was awarded a 100% satisfaction score from the customer.
