The $56.5 million new space boasts 72 new beds, new emergency, radiology, admitting and surgery departments, as well as a new critical care unit and an obstetrics unit renovation. Designed by Gresham Smith & Partners, Sumner Regional Medical Center features the latest in computer-assisted technology and is equipped for future integration of robotic technology. Natural light fills the main lobby, as does magnificent outdoor views. The facility’s state of the art monitoring, bedside computer documentation and telecommunication software maximize efficiency.
