Description: Soaring high above Interstate 95, the new Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center houses 718,000 square-feet and 10 patient floors, with two shelled out for future needs. Robins & Morton constructed the new facility that more than doubles the size of the previous hospital and features all private patient rooms with window views, an expanded emergency department and Birth Care Center, soothing colors and an outdoor healing garden complete with a waterfall. The new medical center is also home to the areas only Siemens Somotom Dual Source 64 Slice CT Scanner and Endovascular/Hybrid Operating Room. New technology means faster diagnoses and the new OR means faster treatment and shorter hospital stays.
