Description: Robins & Morton completed construction on Poinciana Medical Center, an HCA hospital, in May 2013. Located in Kissimmee, Fla., Poinciana Medical Center will increase healthcare access to Osceola and Polk Counties. The new $33 million, 100,000-sq ft. hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient care services, which includes surgery, laboratory, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging and cardiac catheterization. The facility includes 24 private medical-surgical beds, a six-bed ICU, an 11,000-square-foot Emergency Department and a helicopter pad for rapid transport of critically ill patients. Additionally, the campus houses a 42,000-square-foot medical office building. Poinciana Medical Center will employ approximately 200 full-time staff members, including more than 110 physicians.
