Description: The Opelika Sportsplex and Aquatics Center project includes the construction of a new, 81,536 square-foot facility that will house an adult activities center, swimming pool, two racquetball courts, two gyms, weight room, meeting rooms, multimedia room, amphitheater and walking track — all indoors. Outside, the center will have five regulation-size soccer fields and a splash park. Additionally, Robins & Morton provided site grading services for future softball fields. The completion in July 2009 included a main building housing a sportsplex and aquatics center, a maintenance building, concessions building, two soccer buildings and a softball concessions building spanning over 70 acres.
