Description: Vaughan Regional Medical Center, located in Selma, Alabama, consisted of a new 15,146 sq. ft ambulatory surgery unit, 22,500 sq. ft. renovation of material handling and central sterile, and a major overhaul of the hospital’s emergency power system. The overall cost of the project totaled $5,200,000 and lasted nine months. The new ambulatory surgery unit included 23 staging bays and two minor procedure rooms.
