Robins & Morton Volunteers Build Bridges in El Salvador

Robins & Morton Senior Superintendent John Beckham and Assistant Superintendent German Lencinas of the Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center project recently traveled with the local Alamogordo Rotary Club to El Salvador to build a footbridge as part of the non-profit Bridges for Prosperity. While in El Salvador they celebrated the completion of two bridges and started working on another in Guadalupe, El Salvador.

Bridges for Prosperity builds footbridges for poor African, Asian and South American rural communities. These bridges afford communities the ability to cross rivers during the rainy season when rivers swell cutting people off from hospitals, schools, markets and travel.
