Program Management

Program ManagementAs program manager, Robins & Morton develops a comprehensive and integrated process for the planning, design, procurement, construction and implementation of large scale, multi-project facilities. We systematically manage every aspect of the building process, from coordination of pre-design, design, bid and award, construction quality control, close-out and occupancy—ultimately saving time and money for our clients.

Our approach to program management is to assure that all stakeholders–owner, architect/engineer, contractor and program manager–share a clearly defined vision for the program and implement a realistic management plan for getting there. We are diligent about establishing strong working relationships with all team members and assuring clear and concise communication. At the same time, we focus on solving problems and achieving the owner’s goals. We make sure the owner’s requirements for budget and schedule are clear and consistent and that all contracts (including design, construction management, testing and inspection) are compatible with these requirements. Lastly, we establish processes for identifying issues and making decisions that keep a program on track.

The following are examples of our successful Program Management projects:
Alabama A&M University – Campus Expansion
Auburn University Basketball Arena
Alabama Department of Public Health
Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center
