Construction firm Robins & Morton joined Universal Health Services, Inc. to celebrate the topping out of the new Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital expansion on Dec. 15 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The single-story, 68,593-square-foot, freestanding behavioral health facility is being built on the existing Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital campus and will include 90 beds, 30 of which will be for adolescents. The facility will also have a kitchen and dining area, half-court gym and activity therapy spaces, and administration space.
“This beam topping is an important milestone toward the opening of our new building that expands our ability to provide much-needed behavioral and mental healthcare services for patients and the community,” said Cesiley Bouseman, CEO of Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital. “We are proud to see this building take shape and look forward to its opening in 2026.”
“This milestone symbolizes that we are one step closer to bringing this new building to life and thereby serving the behavioral health needs of this community,” Robins & Morton Operations Manager Ashley Dyer said. “The commitment, energy, and enthusiasm of the entire team working on this project will surely carry through when the building opens and more patients are served, leaving a lasting, positive impact.”
The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
Robins & Morton is the general contractor for the project. Stengel Hill Architecture is the architect.
