Construction firm Robins & Morton celebrated the ribbon cutting of the North Mississippi Medical Center Crossover Medical Plaza on Sept. 1 in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The three-story, 46,500-square-foot facility includes an urgent care, dermatology clinic, retina clinic, ophthalmology clinic, and the first dedicated pediatric urgent care open seven days a week in the North Mississippi region.

“The Crossover Medical Plaza represents our commitment to meeting patients where they are with the right care, at the right time, in the right setting,” said Shane Spees, CEO of North Mississippi Health Services. “By bringing urgent care, specialty services, and the region’s first dedicated, physician-led pediatric urgent care open seven days a week under one roof, we are making it easier for families across North Mississippi to access high-quality care right here at home.”

“The Crossover Medical Plaza reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare and creating a more convenient experience for patients and providers,” Robins & Morton Operations Manager Ashley Dyer said. “We’re honored to celebrate the completion of this project with North Mississippi Health Services and our project partners. Through close collaboration and a focus on quality, we’ve delivered a facility that will support the community’s healthcare needs for many years to come.”

Robins & Morton served as the general contractor for the project. McCarty Architects was the architect.
