AdventHealth and Robins & Morton Celebrate Ribbon Cutting of AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospital

AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospital ribbon cutting

AdventHealth and construction firm Robins & Morton celebrated the ribbon cutting of the four-story, 153,000-square-foot AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospital.

The new hospital includes an emergency department, full-service imaging, five operating suites, endoscopy services, a heart catheterization lab, and an outpatient lab. It opens with 100 private rooms.

“Construction began in September 2021, but the planning and preparation were years in the making,” said Wally De Aquino, president and CEO for AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway. “Flagler County – and Palm Coast in particular – has experienced significant growth in recent years, and to help keep our community healthy, it is important that our healthcare infrastructure continues to expand and grow, too.”

According to AdventHealth, the project represents the single largest healthcare investment in Flagler County and will ensure access to high-quality acute care for the community that has grown more than 29% since the 2010 census. The new Palm Coast Parkway hospital will augment the county’s only other hospital, AdventHealth Palm Coast.

“We are excited to complete this project that will provide additional healthcare options for the Flagler and St. Johns County communities,” said Robins & Morton Operations Manager Angel Colon. “We’re grateful to our longtime partner AdventHealth for the opportunity to deliver this exceptional facility that will leave a lasting impact for residents.”

HuntonBrady served as the architect for the project. Robins & Morton served as the construction manager.
