AdventHealth, community leaders and contractor Robins & Morton celebrated the official groundbreaking of the new AdventHealth Care Pavilion Heathbrook located in Ocala.
“We’re excited to help AdventHealth bring this innovative approach to primary care to the Ocala community,” said Robins & Morton Operations Manager Todd Watson. “Marion County’s enthusiasm and support for this project has been tremendously motivating.”
When completed in the fall of 2022, the single-story, 25,000-square foot structure will house primary care, a café, retail space, a kids’ club, and full imaging, including MRI, CT, bone density, X-ray and ultrasound scans.
“We’re excited to expand to our robust network of care in Marion County with the addition of clinical and retail services in one convenient, accessible location for consumers,” said John Johannessen, Senior Executive Officer, Non-Acute Care, AdventHealth West Florida Division. “Our goal is to create destination for primary and imaging care rather than just a standard service location.”
This will become the third care pavilion Robins & Morton has built for AdventHealth’s West Florida Division. The company recently completed care pavilions in Westchase and New Tampa. In September, Robins & Morton completed AdventHealth’s new emergency department in the Marion County community of Belleview.
“We’re honored that AdventHealth has entrusted to help them bring high quality care to communities across Florida,” said Watson.
