Following a virtual groundbreaking, construction firm Robins & Morton is ready to begin work on AdventHealth’s new offsite emergency department in Clermont, Florida.
AdventHealth Waterman celebrated the groundbreaking of the Clermont Emergency Department and Health Park with a virtual Facebook event on Wednesday, October 7.
AdventHealth selected Robins & Morton to build the 19,000-square-foot, 24-room emergency department. The facility will include diagnostic imaging, respiratory therapy, a full-service laboratory and two pediatric-friendly rooms.
“We’re grateful to serve as AdventHealth’s partner in another extension of their emergency services in Central Florida,” said Robins & Morton Senior Project Manager Angel Colon. Robins & Morton recently broke ground on AdventHealth Port Orange, also an offsite emergency department.
The AdventHealth Clermont Emergency Department is scheduled to open in 2021.
“It is a privilege to expand AdventHealth’s care network to better serve Clermont and the South Lake community,” said Abel Biri, President and CEO of AdventHealth Waterman.
