Robins & Morton Celebrates Groundbreaking of Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital Expansion

Construction firm Robins & Morton joined Universal Health Services, Inc. to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital expansion on June 3 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The single-story, 68,593-square-foot, freestanding behavioral health facility will be built on the existing Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital campus and will include 90 beds, 30 of which will be for adolescents. The facility will also have a kitchen and dining area, half-court gym and activity therapy spaces, and administration space.

“For the past 19 years, Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital has had the privilege of serving Oklahomans in need of a safe place to find healing and hope. It is our honor to be that place for children, adolescents, adults and their loved ones across Oklahoma,” said Cesiley Bouseman, CEO, Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital. “The new 90-bed building will increase our total bed count to 206 beds, expanding our ability to provide high quality healthcare throughout the great state of Oklahoma. If you or a loved one are in need of mental health treatment, help is a phone call away.”

“We are excited to begin work on this important facility that will have a lasting, positive impact in our community for many years ahead,” Robins & Morton Operations Manager Ashley Dyer said. “Thank you to Universal Health Services for their continued trust and partnership.”

The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.

Robins & Morton is the general contractor for the project. Stengel Hill Architecture is the architect.
