Robins & Morton, HEALS, Inc. and community members gathered at Madison County Elementary School to celebrate the ribbon cutting of their newest clinic, the Geraldine Bennett Penney HEALS Clinic on August 22.
Robins & Morton donated building services for the new HEALS clinic that will serve qualifying students and their siblings, ages birth up to 19 years of age, with primary medical and dental healthcare. Clinic staff can also transport site-school students to a HEALS optometry clinic in Huntsville, as needed. Chapman Sisson Architects and the following subcontractors also made the construction of this clinic possible with major donations of time, drawings and materials:
- Morard & Co.
- Wells & Tate
- H.C. Blake
- Specon Systems
- Herston Painting
- K&M Paint
- Commercial Flooring Services
- Woodcraft Specialties
- Quality Glass
- Shannon Brothers Tile
- Equipment Rental & Supply
- Sherwin Williams
Construction began at the HEALS Clinic at Madison County Elementary in February 2017.
HEALS serves site-school students at Lincoln Academy, Martin Luther King Jr., Morris, and Sonnie Hereford Elementary in Huntsville and Madison Cross Roads Elementary School in Toney.
“HEALS is dedicated to providing accessible medical and dental care to the area’s most vulnerable children,” HEALS Executive Director Teek Patnaik said. “We are appreciative of the professional plans drawn by Chapman Sisson Architects and timely construction work from Robins & Morton.”
