Construction firm Robins & Morton joined Huntsville Hospital Health System and the Lawrence County Health Care Authority on Monday, Sept. 28, to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Lawrence Medical Center Outpatient Facility in Moulton, Alabama.
The $14 million, 10,000-square-foot facility will include extended-hours urgent care, advanced diagnostic imaging, respiratory therapy, laboratory services and a community room. The 20-acre site allows for future expansion.
“Access to high-quality healthcare close to home is especially important in rural communities, and that commitment is at the heart of who we are as a community-based health system,” said Jeff Samz, HH Health president and CEO. “We are proud to make this investment in Lawrence County and to work alongside local leaders to build a stronger future for healthcare in this community. This new facility reflects our long-term commitment to keeping care local and finding sustainable ways to meet the needs of the people we serve.”

Robins & Morton is the general contractor. Chapman Sisson Architects is the architect.
