Description: The new indoor practice facility will feature a 100-yard field and will allow Auburn football, baseball, softball, soccer and track teams to practice indoors during inclement weather. Construction on the 92,000 square-foot, $12.5 million facility is expected to be completed by the fall of 2011. The multipurpose indoor facility will complement the renovations made at the Auburn Athletic Complex over the past several years and the ongoing improvements at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The facility will be located adjacent to the current football practice fields behind the Auburn Athletic Complex. It will run east and west along Samford Avenue and will connect with the Charlotte G. Lowder Student-Athlete Development Center and the James T. Tatum Jr. Strength and Conditioning Center.
