Signature Aviation HSV

Robins & Morton served as general contractor for the Signature Aviation HSV – Huntsville International Airport renovation, a single-story, 8,000-square-foot project located at Huntsville International Airport in Huntsville, Alabama. The scope encompassed the full demolition and renovation of an existing commercial airport terminal, including upgrades to the terminal facility and adjacent airline hangar. Designed to achieve LEED v4 certification, the project reflects a shared commitment between Robins & Morton and the client to deliver a sustainable, high-performance facility that elevates the experience for travelers and airport staff alike.

One of the defining challenges of this project was maintaining uninterrupted airport operations and security throughout construction. Working within an active aviation environment required meticulous phasing, continuous coordination with airport staff, and strict adherence to security protocols at every stage. Robins & Morton’s team developed a detailed construction sequence that allowed work to progress efficiently without compromising the safety or functionality of the terminal.
