Description: The OIT Building provides office and support spaces for over 140 A&P, staff and student employees. The Mission Critical Tier 2 level center encompasses a total of 6500 square-feet with a Command Center. The machine room is composed of a single path for power and cooling distribution with redundant components. The machine room includes access flooring, uninterruptible power supply, generator emergency power, hot aisles with chimneys on the side of the servers to displace heat overhead, PDU’s, overhead bus way with A and B phase distribution, outside plant cabling, premises structured cabling, racks, network cabinets, servers, cable assemblies, and patch cords. It enables consolidation of OIT employees from nine different buildings, including Dunstan Hall, Haley Center, L Building, Parker Hall, Property Services Building, Telecom and ETV Film Laboratory, Telecom and ETV Scene Shop, Telecom Studio and ETV Office, and Telecommunications and ETV Studio.
