Colorado Plains Medical Center

Size: 8,442 sq ft

Architect: HuntonBrady Architects

Description: Construction on Colorado Plains Medical Center's Paul E. Woodward Birthing Center began at the beginning of August 2014 in response to the local need for more, updated facilities. The hospital's obstetrics unit had not been expanded or renovated since 2002. After the project's completion in August 2015, the center now houses a C-Section suite, renovated hallways, improved nurse's station and remodeled post-partum rooms. With approximately 500 babies born at Colorado Plains annually, the new and improved space will positively impact the new mothers in the Fort Morgan community.
