Description: Orlando Health’s Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, formerly Orlando Regional Sand Lake Hospital, opened its new patient tower November 17, 2008. The project includes a 360,000 SF expansion, which includes a new central energy plant and pedestrian bridge. An additional 75,000 SF of interior renovations will be completed in phases by March 2010. Together, all stages of construction will total $136 million. The hospital is named for Dr. Phillip Phillips, a local philanthropist known for his support of programs addressing community needs.
