Description: Robins & Morton began working at the Florida Hospital East Orlando campus in 2005. Our most recent work on this campus included selective demolition, renovation, and an expansion that doubled the current program of the Emergency Department. The area of the existing ED increased by approximately 24,000 square feet, bringing the ED area total to 47,684 square feet. The expansion included 36 exam/treatment rooms, two trauma rooms, two CT rooms, and four special care exam rooms. Concurrent with the ED expansion and renovation, Robins & Morton completed a build-out of 35,173 square feet on the 5th floor to add 40 PCU beds as well as the renovation of four operating rooms, PACU, and post-operation areas, as well as multiple smaller renovation including: critical decision area, pharmacy, physical therapy, CT equipment replacement and CT holding area renovation. In 2007, Robins & Morton completed a 199,750-square-foot, five-story patient bed tower addition, and in 2010, we completed a 10,864-square-foot operating room renovation.
