Description: Porter County Hospital project is a new 225-bed replacement hospital located in Valparaiso, Indiana. The hospital was needed because the original hospital was originally built in 1939 and could no longer support the needs of the surrounding community. Located on 40 acres of the 104 acre site, Porter Regional Hospital was built with the total patient experience in mind. Associates and physicians of the hospital played a central role in the hospitals evolution, collaborating with architects to fine-tune floor plans to ensure the new facility would emphasize efficiency, safety, comfort, convenience and advanced quality care.

Porter Regional Hospital has been awarded Two Green Globes.
