The Bank Independent Team Campus is a four-story, 100,000-square-foot operations center in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The greenfield facility consolidates approximately 300 team members into one location and includes offices, communal workspaces, training rooms, a café, and a fitness center. The project features a steel structure, curtain wall, and precast exterior systems. Robins & Morton self-performed concrete and low-voltage services.
The project’s challenge was to create a workplace that could consolidate operations from five separate offices while supporting a broad range of work styles and team functions. Robins & Morton worked closely with the client and design team to align building systems, structure, exterior enclosure, and interior program requirements. That level of integration improved communication across the project team, supported timely decision-making, and maintained clear accountability from preconstruction through closeout.
For Bank Independent, the campus provides a unified operations hub designed for collaboration, training, employee well-being, and future growth. Robins & Morton helped translate the client’s vision into a cohesive workplace environment that supports both daily operations and organizational culture. The project also reflects an established relationship between Bank Independent and Robins & Morton, built through multiple successful facilities that support the client’s continued expansion.
