Children’s Health

The relationship between Robins & Morton and Children’s Health began in 2010, collaborating on multiple construction management projects. These projects have showcased expertise in managing complex healthcare renovations while ensuring patient care and staff support areas are modernized to the highest standards.

One notable achievement was the successful renovation of several rooms within the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). This renovation posed several challenges, including creating an interim ICU to accommodate displaced beds and relocate patients. Additionally, Robins & Morton effectively managed the demolition of the existing space to make way for modernized patient care and staff support areas. Throughout the project, Robins & Morton prioritized noise mitigation, vibration control, air quality management, and infection control measures, which were instrumental in achieving our goals and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and staff.

Another significant endeavor involved the renovation of a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The team transformed 22 pediatric patient rooms on the medical center’s seventh floor into private NICU patient rooms. This project required meticulous planning and execution to create a nurturing and secure environment for newborns and their families.

The commitment to Children’s Health and the expertise in construction management is consistently demonstrated throughout various projects. The ability to overcome complex challenges, adhere to rigorous safety standards, and deliver high-quality results has solidified our long-term partnership and positioned us as a trusted construction partner for Children’s Health.
