Robins & Morton served as general contractor for the Freytag Cancer Center at AdventHealth Palm Coast, a two-story, 30,000-square-foot freestanding facility in Palm Coast, Florida.
Completed in 2024, the center delivers comprehensive cancer treatment services, including medical oncology provided by Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute and AdventHealth radiation oncology, alongside primary care physician offices on the second floor. The facility also houses the relocated Judith C. Macko Cancer Resource Center, offering free resources and support to patients and their families. A $30 million investment in the Flagler County community, the project reflects AdventHealth’s commitment to expanding world-class healthcare services in the region.
Constructing a freestanding cancer center requires precise coordination of highly specialized systems and equipment. The Freytag Cancer Center incorporates state-of-the-art technology, including the TrueBeam visual radiation system, which demands exacting installation standards and close collaboration among the design team, trade contractors, and equipment vendors. Robins & Morton’s deep expertise in cancer center construction, including coordination of specialty equipment such as linear accelerators and radiation oncology systems, positioned the team to navigate these technical complexities while maintaining schedule and quality commitments for the client.
