AdventHealth and Robins & Morton virtually marked the groundbreaking of the new 100-bed Palm Coast Parkway hospital on Sept. 14.
The four-story hospital will feature an emergency department, five operating suites, endoscopy services, an outpatient laboratory, heart catheterization labs, 20 critical-care patient rooms and 80 medical-surgical care rooms. The new hospital will augment the existing AdventHealth Palm Coast hospital approximately nine miles south by increasing access to care in Flagler County.
“We are very excited to begin construction on our Palm Coast Parkway hospital and to be able to expand world-class emergency, inpatient and outpatient care for this area,” said Dr. Ron Jimenez, CEO of AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway. “AdventHealth is grateful to be a vital part of this growing community.”
This project represents the single largest healthcare investment in Flagler County and will bring more than 400 new jobs to the area.
“As a long-time construction partner of AdventHealth, we’re proud to be a part of bringing this significant healthcare facility to Florida’s Atlantic coast,” Robins & Morton Project Director Angel Colon said. “We’re grateful for the trust placed in us to deliver this new hospital to the community.”
Construction is scheduled for completion in early 2023.
