The long-term partnership between Robins & Morton and Brookwood Baptist Health began in 2000 with various hospital additions and renovations. As Birmingham and the surrounding communities grew, Brookwood Baptist Health recognized the need to upgrade and expand their facilities.
Many of the projects completed were renovations in an active facility. Careful coordination among all parties was necessary to ensure there were no interruptions in the hospital’s daily operations.
In the past twenty years, Robins & Morton has completed various projects including a 108-bed women’s medical center, an emergency department renovation, a retail pharmacy and gift shop, MEP upgrades and replacements, hybrid OR additions, an 80-bed behavioral health renovation, an electrophysiology lab, a lobby and registration renovation, a catheterization lab relocation and more.
