Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center

Robins & Morton began working with Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center at its original location.  Our continuous work there helped lead to the award of their replacement facility in Daytona Beach.  This project included a 598,734 SF 12-story replacement hospital and new 135-acre campus, replacing a 42-year-old hospital that served the Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach communities. The project also included a new 137,370 SF medical office building and 17,000 SF stand-alone CEP. The hospital included a modern evidence-based design for the emergency department and trauma center. An expansive kitchen was included in the project, featuring a large food service space serving the patient rooms and as well as the public.

Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center won the following awards: Alabama ABC Excellence in Construction, Eagle Award American Concrete Institute Florida Chapter – Significant concrete structure of the year Southeast Construction Magazine’s Best of 2009 – Award of Excellence. Since the completion of this project, Robins and Morton has continued to work with Florida Hospital memorial Medical Center on numerous addition and renovations.
