Other Professional Training
In the early years of our company, major emphasis was placed on documenting the best procedures for constructing buildings and training all of our people in the implementation of these procedures. This culture of continuous learning and improving as individuals and as a company is still central to how we operate today, only on a much more sophisticated level.
Our early classrooms of jobsite trailers and cramped conference rooms have been replaced with The Todd Robins Training for Excellence Center, named in honor of the company’s founder who preached the value of education. This state-of-the-art, dedicated training facility offers over 110 classes to employees, clients, and industry friends each year and hosts a spectrum of comprehensive topics ranging from quality control and safety management to effective communication and leadership development.
In addition to quality instruction from highly qualified internal and external experts, we are a designated United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education provider. Robins and Morton recognizes LEED as a valuable standard for measuring sustainable design and construction and requires this training for our preconstruction and operations teams.
